LAM TRANSLATIONS

MSc Luz Martin

Professor and Researcher at  Zulia University, in Maracaibo.
Master´s Degree in Linguistics and Language Teaching.  

I have worked in the translations field for around 10 years; this area of study has always fascinated me. I have translated different kinds of articles for several magazines, like the Palacio de Eventos Magazine (Maruma Hotel) and Aserca Airlines Inflight Magazine. I have worked for Oil Consulting Companies and Petroleum Exploration Service Companies in Maracaibo as a language professor and translator. I translated Petrophysics Handbooks and Oil Exploration Guides, I prepared the Company Staff´s Bilingual Résumé and CV in English and Spanish. My experience in translation  extends to different areas like: Psychology, Education, Engineering, Tourism, Linguistics, Petrophysics, Anthropology, Medicine, and others.

I speak English, Spanish (native), and French; and have general knowledge and formal training in other 2 languages.

 I can handle responsibility well and have a flair for organization. I am self-motivated and like to work independently.
